National Testing Agency (NTA) released provisional answer keys for NCET 2026 on April 28. Candidates can challenge answers by paying ₹200 per question till April 30, 2026 at 11:50 PM on exams.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer keys for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026 on April 28, 2026.
A total of 73,608 candidates appeared for the NCET 2026 examination conducted on April 17 and 18, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across India.
All candidates can now access their question papers along with recorded responses on the official portal exams.nta.nic.in to verify their answers and raise objections if needed.

How to Challenge NCET 2026 Answer Key?
Candidates who are dissatisfied with the provisional answer keys can challenge them by visiting exams.nta.nic.in and logging in with their application number and password.
After entering the captcha code, candidates must click on "Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key" to view all question IDs for NCET 2026.
For each question they wish to challenge, candidates can select alternative options by clicking checkboxes and must save their claims before proceeding to payment.
The non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question must be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI by April 30, 2026 at 11:50 PM.
NCET 2026 Payment and Challenge Submission Process
No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee, and the fee must be paid only through the specified digital modes.
Candidates must ensure they select all required options before moving to the payment screen and cannot submit challenges after April 30, 2026 at 11:50 PM.
The payment deadline is strictly enforced, and late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. Each question challenged requires a separate ₹200 processing fee payment.
What’s Next for Students
If any challenge made by a candidate is found to be correct, the provisional answer key will be revised accordingly and applied to the responses of all candidates.
The final answer keys will be prepared by subject matter experts after settling all challenges, and these finalized keys will be used to prepare the NCET 2026 results.
Individual candidates will not be informed about the acceptance or rejection of their specific challenges. The keys finalized by experts after challenge settlement will be considered final and binding for result preparation.
