MNNIT Allahabad MBA 2026-27 Shortlist Released; GDPI Scheduled for May 30 and 31

According to the official admission notification published on the School of Management Studies academic portal of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad, the list of candidates shortlisted for the MBA 2026-27 Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) round has been released. Eligible candidates can check their status by logging into academics.mnnit.ac.in/fresh_mba using their application credentials.

MNNIT Allahabad runs its two-year full-time MBA programme through the School of Management Studies and selects candidates based on scores in CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, XAT or GMAT, followed by the institute-level GDPI round.

How Candidates Were Shortlisted

The shortlist for GDPI was prepared using a weighted percentile score derived from candidates' valid scores in CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, XAT or GMAT. The MBA Admission Committee at MNNIT may set a minimum category-wise percentile cut-off for invitations to the GDPI round.

Eligibility for the programme requires a three-year bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or a CPI of 6.5. The relaxed requirement for SC, ST and Divyang candidates stands at 55% aggregate or a CPI of 6.0. The institute has clarified that meeting the minimum eligibility does not automatically guarantee shortlisting.

Final Selection Components

Final admission will be decided on a composite score that combines four parameters listed in the official notification:

• Weighted score from the qualifying entrance exam
• Academic qualifications
• Work experience
• Performance in the Group Discussion or Extempore and Personal Interview rounds

Shortlisted candidates must carry original documents, mark sheets, a valid entrance exam scorecard, and the printed application acknowledgement to the venue at the School of Management Studies, MNNIT Allahabad on the assigned interview date.

MBA Programme Structure and Seats

The MBA at MNNIT Allahabad is a two-year, four-semester programme offered across five specialisations: Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, International Business and Systems Management. The approved intake for the full-time MBA is 62 seats.

The total programme fee stands at Rs 1.77 lakh, which keeps it among the more affordable MBA options offered by an Institute of National Importance. The application fee was Rs 1,200 for the General category and Rs 600 for SC, ST and PwD applicants.

1. Log in to the MNNIT MBA admission portal with the Application ID and password to confirm shortlist status.
2. Download and print the GDPI call letter once it appears on the dashboard.
3. Arrange originals and self-attested photocopies of Class 10, Class 12, graduation mark sheets, the entrance exam scorecard, category certificate (if applicable) and work experience proof.
4. Reach the School of Management Studies, MNNIT Allahabad on the assigned date for the GD and PI round.
5. Track the academic portal on June 12, 2026, for the final selection list.
