According to the official notification, online registration for the third round will be open from October 6 to October 8.

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has announced the third round of admissions for MBBS (medical) and BDS (dental) courses for the academic year 2025–26. There are 891 seats still vacant in medical and dental colleges across the state.
In the second round of admissions, 2,718 seats were available. Out of these, 2,696 students were allotted seats, but only 1,827 students confirmed their admission. This means 852 students did not take the seat, and 17 students cancelled their admission. This has left a total of 891 seats available for the third round.
Important Dates
- Registration: October 6 to October 8, 2025
- Provisional Merit List: October 9, 2025
- Filling College Preferences: October 10 to October 12, 2025
- Seat Allotment List: October 15, 2025
- Reporting to Allotted College: October 16 to October 20, 2025
Students who want to take part in this round need to register online, upload all required documents, and pay the application fee within the registration period. Once registered, the CET Cell will release a provisional merit list on October 9, showing all eligible candidates.
After this, students can fill in their preferred colleges in the option form between October 10 and 12. The seat allotment list will then be announced on October 15. Students who are allotted a seat must report to their college between October 16 and 20 to confirm their admission.
This is a great opportunity for students who could not get a seat in earlier rounds or who want to change their college. It is very important to follow the dates carefully, complete registration, and submit all documents to avoid missing out on seats.
