As per the latest guidelines, candidates must appear for the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) for ICFAI University Jaipur’s PhD admissions. The RAT will be a two-hour examination, divided equally into Research Methodology and Quantitative Aptitude (50%) and Subject-Specific Knowledge (50%).
Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks to qualify for the next stage. Those shortlisted will be called for a personal interview, conducted either offline or online, to evaluate their research aptitude, motivation, and area of interest.
The final selection will be determined through a 70:30 weightage ratio between the entrance test and interview scores. Candidates who are exempted from RAT will be assessed solely on their interview performance, which carries a 100% weightage.
Selected candidates will be required to produce original and self-attested copies of academic certificates, domicile proof, and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer if applicable.
Final-year students must complete all academic requirements by January 9, 2026, and furnish proof of eligibility by February 9, 2026, failing which their admission will be cancelled.
As per university norms, 25% of the total seats are reserved for candidates from Rajasthan, while any unfilled seats will be reallocated to open-category applicants.
