LPU Partners with ETS India to Open Dedicated TOEFL and GRE Test Center; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Lovely Professional University (LPU) and ETS India have entered into a partnership by signing an Institutional Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to open dedicated TOEFL and GRE test centers. 

As per this MoU, Lovely Professional University has established an exclusive TOEFL and GRE test center right on its campus, catering to a diverse student population from the university and the surrounding areas. This facility goes beyond being a test center; it functions as a comprehensive resource hub to support students in pursuing their aspirations of overseas education.

The partnership will primarily concentrate on enhancing the university's capability to facilitate the preparation and evaluation of significant examinations like TOEFL® and GRE® on the LPU campus for its students.

Furthermore, LPU students will receive assistance in their TOEFL and GRE test readiness through a sequence of masterclasses led by trainers from ETS India. ETS India will also conduct training sessions for LPU faculty to empower students with the necessary skills for test preparation.

In addition, ETS India has introduced merit scholarships valued at INR 2,50,000 for students at LPU.

Moreover, LPU will integrate TOEFL and GRE educational materials into their Learning Management System (LMS) and consider the potential of granting elective credits for GRE and TOEFL as part of their institutional credit system across all academic programs.

Mr. Sachin Jain, Country Manager of ETS India and South Asia, mentioned that Punjab has historically been an attractive destination for students aspiring to pursue global educational opportunities, with many venturing to the United States and Canada. 

This collaboration with Lovely Professional University represents a significant step in supporting the aspirations of LPU's vibrant student community hailing from various parts of India and beyond. 

With this collaboration, LPU will establish a dedicated TOEFL and GRE test center within its campus. Additionally, through the provision of scholarships, training initiatives, and valuable resources for TOEFL and GRE preparation, ETS aims to assist students in realizing their aspirations for international higher education, he added.

Dr. Aman Mittal, the Vice President of LPU, expressed that their commitment to awarding credits to test takers reflects their dedication to implementing NEP 2020, with a focus on skill-based credits that contribute to the holistic development of students. 

He also mentioned their enthusiasm for the significant potential of the partnership and the transformative impact it will have on the educational journeys of their students.
