New Delhi: KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) released the final seat allotment result for Karnataka PGCET 2023 Round 1 on January 25, 2024. The provisional seat allotment result was announced on January 24, 2024. Candidates can now check the final seat allotment result on the official KEA website by entering their CET number.

After releasing the Karnataka PGCET seat allotment results, candidates must make their selections and submit the admission fee to confirm their allotted seat. The first round of the allotment process will be finalised once candidates have reported to their designated institutes.

According to the official schedule, candidates allotted seats must make their choices in consultation with their parents between January 26 and January 28, 2024. Payment of Choice 1 and Choice 2 fees can be completed from January 29 to January 31, 2024. The deadline for reporting to the allotted colleges is February 1, 2024.

Step 2: Click the ‘Karnataka PGCET 2023 Seat Allotment Result’ option on the home page.

Step 3: Enter the login credentials, like the CET number and click on submit.

Step 4: The seat allotment result will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Check the seat allotment result and download the page.

Step 6: Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

Karnataka PGCET 2023 Choice Filling

After announcing the final seat allotment result, candidates must engage in the Karnataka PGCET 2023 choice-filling process according to the provided schedule. The available options for choice filling are as follows:

• Choice 1 should be selected by candidates who are content with their allocated seats and do not intend to participate in any further rounds of the PGCET seat allotment.
• Choice 2 should be opted for by candidates who are satisfied with their assigned seat but wish to partake in the subsequent round of the allotment process. The seats allotted to these candidates in the first round will be reserved until they secure a favourable allotment.
• Choice 3 is for candidates dissatisfied with the allotment who wish to relinquish the allocated seat. By choosing this option, they express their desire to participate in the subsequent allotment round.
• Choice 4 is for candidates who neither wish to participate in the Karnataka PGCET counselling nor are content with the allotted seat.
