KEA has extended the Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2026 registration deadline to July 30. Fresh applications from NEET-qualified candidates are now allowed at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2026 registration deadline. Candidates can now apply until July 30, 2026, through the official KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. The earlier registration deadline was July 24, 2026.
The deadline extension applies to admissions for MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses for the 2026–27 academic year in Karnataka. KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, IAS, confirmed the revised timeline through an official notice.
The decision was taken following requests from candidates and parents seeking additional time to complete the registration process. KEA has advised eligible applicants to register within the revised window. The official notice has not indicated any further extension.

Who Can Apply Under the Extended Window?
The extended registration window is open to NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates seeking admission in Karnataka. Candidates who missed the earlier July 24 deadline can now submit a fresh application until July 30, 2026.
Candidates who have already completed the registration process do not need to apply again.
Applicants must fulfil the domicile, academic and eligibility requirements prescribed by KEA. Only candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 are eligible to register for the available MBBS, BDS and AYUSH seats.

Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026 Application Fee
The counselling registration fee varies according to the candidate’s category and must be paid online. Available payment methods include net banking, debit card, credit card and UPI.

What About NEET UG Roll Number Linking?
KEA has not yet received the NEET UG 2026 result data from the National Testing Agency (NTA). Therefore, the NEET roll number linking facility is currently not active on the counselling portal.
The linking facility will be activated after KEA receives the required candidate data from NTA. The document verification process will begin after the roll number linking procedure is completed.
Candidates should not wait for the linking facility to open before registering. KEA has advised applicants to complete the registration process first and regularly check the official website for updates regarding roll number linking and document verification.

How to Register for Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026?
- Visit the official KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
- Click on the UGNEET 2026 registration link available on the homepage.
- Register using an active mobile number and email address.
- Enter the required personal, academic and NEET UG 2026 details.
- Upload the scanned copies of the photograph, signature and supporting documents.
- Pay the applicable counselling registration fee through the online payment gateway.
- Review all the entered information and submit the application form.
- Download and save a copy of the submitted application form and fee receipt for future reference.
Candidates are advised to complete the application well before July 30, 2026, and regularly visit the KEA website for updates regarding roll number linking, document verification, option entry and seat allotment.
