Kalyani University Invites Applications for Phase 2 Admission to MA/M.SC Courses Till November 8; Apply Now!

Kalyani University is inviting online applications for 2nd Phase admission to a 2-year semester-based M.A./M.Sc. programs under Open & Distance Learning (ODL) mode for the 2024-25 session. The registration starts on November 5, 2024. The last date for registration for admission into PG courses at Kalyani University is November 8, 2024. No application fees will be charged for online applications.

Important Dates

Eligibility for M.A.

Course Offered: MA in Bengali, English, History and Education

• Hons./Spl. Hons. with the concerned subject OR
• General/Pass Graduate (10+2+3) with qualifying marks in the subject concerned carrying a total of at least 150 marks OR
• General Graduate (10+2+2) with a one-year bridge course in a concerned subject.

Eligibility for M.Sc.

Course Offered: M.Sc in Zoology, Botany, Geography and Mathematics

• Hons./ Spl. Hons with the concerned subject
• General/Pass Graduate (10+2+3) with qualifying marks in the subject concerned carrying a total of at least 150 marks. (General/Pass Graduate candidates will get a chance after admission of Hons. Candidates)

Applicants with an MA subject are eligible to get admission to MA in any other subject (other than MA in Education) offered through Distance Education Mode irrespective of whether or not that subject was offered at the degree stage. Candidates with an MA in any professional subject like Music, Drama, Film Studies, and others will not be eligible to avail of the provision. In the case of MA in Education, Graduates with B.Ed. or equivalent degrees are also eligible.
