JKBOSE has announced the rescheduled examination date for the Class 12 Physical Education subject, set for March 30. The official has confirmed that the timing and venue of the examination will remain unchanged.

New Delhi: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced that it will be conducting the examination for Class 12 Physical Education on March 30, 2023. However, the board has confirmed that the timing and venue of the examination will remain unchanged.

Earlier, the examination was conducted once on March 20, 2024. Unfortunately, on the exam day, students across the Union Territory (UT) were mistakenly provided with physical education subject question papers meant for Class 11. Consequently, the examination board had to take the decision of reconducting the JKBOSE Class 12 physical education exam throughout the Union Territory.

In response to this incident, a three-member committee has been established to investigate the erroneous distribution of question papers to Class 12 students. This committee will generate a comprehensive report within three days to identify any oversight or administrative shortcomings.

The official JKBOSE notice states that “for the awareness of all concerned parties, it is hereby announced that the Physical Education examination for higher secondary examination part-2 (Class 12), annual session (Regular) 2024, in the soft zone areas of UT of Jammu and Kashmir, previously cancelled as per notification No: F(Acad-c)/PP/PEDIAR/ Exam/2024 dated March 20, 2024, will now take place on March 30, 2024.”

Meanwhile, the JKBOSE has initiated the Class 12 board exams for the soft zone on March 6, 2024. According to the official schedule provided by the JK Board, the annual theory exam for Class 12 will conclude on March 28, 2024. Students are advised to access their admit cards and review the official exam notification through the official website at jkbose.nic.in.
