JAC has released date sheet for class 10th and class 12th on the official website. The examinations are scheduled to begin from 11 February 2025.
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially announced the exam schedule for the 2025 academic year for both Class 10 and Class 12 students. According to the newly released date sheet, the JAC Class 10 and Class 12 exams will commence on February 11, 2025, and conclude on March 3, 2025.
Both Class 10 and Class 12 exams will begin with vocational subjects, with Class 10 exams running in the morning session from 9:45 AM to 1:00 PM, and Class 12 exams scheduled in the afternoon session from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. The duration of the exams will be 3 hours and 15 minutes, providing students with sufficient time to complete their papers.
For Class 10, the final examination will be for Mathematics, scheduled on March 3, 2025, marking the conclusion of the exams. On the other hand, Class 12 students will wrap up their exams with the Computer Science paper on the same date.

Passing Marks and Grading System
For the JAC Class 10 exams, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in both theory and practical exams to pass. The grading system for Class 10 is as follows:

Distinction: 75% and above

First Division: 60% and above

Second Division: 45% to 60%

Third Division: 33% to 45%
As for Class 12 students, the JAC has outlined similar passing criteria, based on their respective streams and subjects.
