IIT Tirupati MTech Admission 2026 Begins @iittp.ac.in; Apply Till April 20

IIT Tirupati has commenced the registration process for MTech admission 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website till April 20, 2026 (5:00 PM).

As per the official schedule, the application window opened on March 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Further updates regarding COAP rounds, document verification, orientation, and commencement of classes will be announced soon by the institute.

Admissions will be offered across multiple specialisations in departments such as Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Chemical Engineering, based on GATE scores and eligibility criteria.

IIT Tirupati MTech 2026 Important Dates

Candidates applying for MTech at IIT Tirupati must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or a relevant Master’s degree from a recognised institution.

For HTTA (Half-Time Teaching Assistantship) candidates, a valid GATE score (2024/2025/2026) is required. However, IIT graduates with a CGPA of 8.0 or above (7.5 for SC/ST) can apply without GATE. For non-HTTA categories such as sponsored candidates, applicants must have at least two years of work experience along with the required academic qualifications.
