IIT JAM 2024 Third Admission List Out @jam.iitm.ac.in, Seat Booking Open till June 23

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has released the third admission list for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2024 on June 20, 2024. Candidates who have registered for the counselling process can access their allocated seats on the official website, jam.iitm.ac.in.

To check the admission list for IIT JAM 2024, candidates are required to enter their login credentials such as email ID, enrollment ID, mobile number, registration number, and password. Candidates must pay the seat booking fee by June 23, 2024. 

Applicants from the general, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories must pay a fee of INR 15,500 to book their seats, while those from the SC, ST, and PwD categories must pay INR 7,500. IIT Madras has released the IIT JAM second admission offer list on June 17, 2024.

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT JAM 2024 at jam.iitm.ac.in.

Step 2: Under the Important Announcement section, click on the ‘JAM 2024 Third Admission offer list Released’ link.
 

Step 3: On the new page, go to the ‘Notification’ section and click ‘Third Admission List: Opening- Closing Ranks’.

Step 4: The third admission list will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Check your desired IITs admission list and confirm your seats as per the schedule.

Candidates who have been allotted seats must select one of the following options:

Accept and Freeze: By selecting this option, the candidate formally accepts the allocated seat and indicates no desire to consider higher preference seats in subsequent rounds.

Accept with Upgrade: By selecting this option, the candidate accepts the allocated seat while expressing a preference for a potential upgrade to higher preference seats in future rounds.

Reject and Quit: By selecting this option, the candidate declines the allocated seat, thereby withdrawing from the admission process. Consequently, the assigned seat will be forfeited, and the candidate will not be considered in subsequent admission rounds.
