INI CET January 2027 Registration Begins at aiimsexams.ac.in; Check Last Date to Apply

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi has opened the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) January 2027 session registration on the official portal at aiimsexams.ac.in. The registration window opened on September 16, 2026. Interested candidates must complete the basic registration process by October 13, 2026 up to 5 PM.

The computer-based test is scheduled for November 1, 2026. Admit cards will be issued on October 26, 2026. The examination is conducted for admission to postgraduate medical and dental programmes across leading Institutes of National Importance in the country.

INI CET January 2027 Key Details

Through this examination, admission is offered to 815 seats in MD, MS, MDS, DM and MCh programmes. The seats are distributed across eight AIIMS campuses along with JIPMER Puducherry, PGIMER Chandigarh and NIMHANS Bengaluru.

How to Register for INI CET January 2027?

The application is a fully online process on the AIIMS examinations portal. Candidates are advised to keep scanned documents ready before starting the form to avoid last-minute errors.

1. Visit the official portal at aiimsexams.ac.in.
2. Complete the basic registration using a valid email ID and mobile number.
3. Fill in personal, academic and communication details in the application form.
4. Upload a passport-size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression.
5. Pay the application fee online and submit the form before the deadline.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Candidates must hold an MBBS, BDS or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognised by the National Medical Commission or Dental Council of India as applicable to the course. Completion of internship on or before January 31, 2027 is required for MD, MS and MDS programmes. DM and MCh applicants must possess a recognised MD or MS degree in the relevant discipline.
