IIM Kashipur Hosts HR Conclave 'Samanvaya 2023' on Human Renaissance: Unleashing the Power of Automation

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management, IIM Kashipur, a prominent management institute in India, has organized the annual HR Conclave 'Samanvaya 2023' under the theme 'Human Renaissance.' 

The IIM Kashipur event featured insightful presentations by industry experts from diverse companies. On October 7th, Chapter 1 of IIM Kashipur's annual HR Conclave concluded with discussions centered on industrial requirements and the expectations from this year's management graduates. 

Chapter 1 of 'Samanvaya 2023' specifically explored the adoption of Automation and Robotics and the increasing role of AI in various sectors.

The event was centered on the theme 'Automation Revolution: Unlocking the HR Insights,' where HR experts shared their perspectives, and the discussions revolved around the future roles of Automation and AI, along with the challenges they may present. 

The HR managers are actively preparing to establish extensive retraining and reskilling programs. The session underscored the importance of embracing and integrating automation into the HR landscape as an industry standard.

'Samanvaya 2023' also witnessed distinguished guest speakers including Mr. Rajiv Naithani, Chief People Officer at Infogain; Dr. Pradyumna Pandey, Manufacturing HR Head at Hero MotoCorp; Mr. Rahul Pakhale, Senior Human Resources Manager at Jio Platforms Limited; and Debalina Roy, General Manager - HR (Talent, Capability, and D&I) at Vodafone Idea Limited.

Professor Utkarsh, who leads the Placement and Corporate Relations division at IIM Kashipur, highlighted that the conversations during the event centered on the impending automation and robotics revolution. This underlined the necessity for well-rounded retraining and re-skilling initiatives. 

The increasing influence of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence on HR procedures and hiring choices was a key focal point. The speakers underscored the prudent utilization of individual competencies, the value of enhancing skill sets, and the significance of utilizing AI-based performance management to combat stagnation within organizations, Prof Utkarsh said. 

Finally, Professor Utkarsh addressed the closing ceremony and commended the success of the IIM HR Conclave 2023.
