IIM Calcutta MBA Result 2026-28 Released; Check Admission Status Now

IIM Calcutta has officially released the final admission result for its flagship MBA programme, 2026-28 batch on April 24, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) round can now check their selection status on the institute's official portal. The admission offer letters will be shared via email to selected candidates.

Candidates must visit application.iimcal.ac.in and enter their CAT 2025 ID and email address to check their admission status. The final merit list has been prepared based on candidates' composite scores, which include performance in CAT 2025 exam, WAT, PI, work experience, and academic diversity.

IIM Calcutta shortlisted candidates initially on the basis of CAT 2025 exam scores and subsequently conducted the WAT-PI round for final selection. Those selected must complete the admission formality by accepting the offer of admission and paying a token amount, which will be adjustable in the course fee.

IIM Calcutta MBA Final Selection 2026-28

The selection process at IIM Calcutta follows a comprehensive evaluation methodology to identify the most suitable candidates for its MBA programme. The composite score weightage includes-

• CAT score (30%),
• Personal Interview (48%),
• Written Ability Test (8%),
• Work Experience (8%), and
• Academic Diversity at Bachelor's level for Non-Engineering degree holders (6%).

IIM Calcutta MBA Fees 2026-28

The MBA programme fee is INR 27.5 lakh, payable in six equal instalments across the four semesters.
