IIM Bodh Gaya Conducts MDP on ‘Professional Etiquettes’ for Indian Oil Corporation Officials

New Delhi: IIM Bodh Gaya has organised a two-day long Management Development Program (MDP) on ‘Professional Etiquettes’ for officials of Indian Oil Corporation from April 28 to April 29, 2023. The first batch was held on April 28, 2023 for 21 officers from different divisions.

As per IIM Bodh Gaya, the MDP on ‘Professional Etiquettes’ was held to improve the professional behaviour and communication skills and knowledge of participants. The program covers these essential skills through interactive sessions, case studies, role plays and simulations.

The keynote address on the inaugural ceremony of IIM Bodh Gaya MDP 2023 was given by Shri Nikhil Deep Mathur, Chief General Manager (Retail Sales) – Head of Bihar & Jharkhand, Indian Oil Corporation at the IIM Bodh Gaya Campus.

Speaking on this occasion, Shri Mathur thanked the institute for taking the initiative to offer specialised training to officers. He shared that through this development program, both institutions have the opportunity to collaborate and learn from each other.

The two-day MDP was taught by the experienced faculty members of IIM Bodh Gaya. It covered basic elements of business etiquette including polite speech and mannerisms, professional body language, consistent punctuality and interpersonal communication, etc. 

In addition to this, the program was held to provide officials of the Indian Oil Corporation with a platform where they can network with each other. The MDP was designed by faculty members with expertise in communication, leadership, ethics, and organisational behaviour.

The MDP on ‘Professional Etiquettes’ is among many other initiatives taken by the IIM Bodh Gaya to offer working professionals an opportunity to grow in their respective fields. With this, this institute’s goal is to provide quality training to individuals and help them achieve their goals.
