Important Instructions for IGNOU Re-registration

  • Portal Registration: New users must register on the portal using a valid mobile number and email ID. Already registered candidates can log in using their username and password. In case of issues like OTP failure or forgotten credentials, students should contact their Regional Centre for assistance.
  • Course Selection: Candidates are advised to carefully choose their courses by referring to the Programme Guide. Any change in course selection at a later stage may lead to loss of valuable study time.
  • Online Payment Safety: Students should exercise caution while making online payments and must not share card details or OTPs. Payments can be made using debit/credit cards, net banking, or UPI options such as the BHIM app.
  • Avoid Last-Minute Submission: IGNOU has advised students not to wait until the last date to complete the re-registration process to avoid technical issues.
  • Payment Status Check: If a payment does not get updated immediately, students should wait for at least one day and check the payment status before attempting another transaction.
  • Duplicate Payment Refund: In case of multiple payments for the same application, one of the payments will be refunded to the student’s account.
  • Third-Party Assistance Caution: Candidates using cybercafés or third-party services must ensure that courses are selected correctly and payment is completed successfully. A printout of the submitted form and payment confirmation should be retained for reference.

Candidates are advised to check the official website of IGNOU (@onlinerr.ignou.ac.in) and collegedunia.com for the latest updates.
