IIM Bangalore BBA DBE Pre-Applications Begin; Register Now @dbe.iimb.ac.in

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) has opened the pre-application portal for its innovative BBA in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship (DBE) for the 2026 academic session.

This digital-first program is designed for students aiming to blend management excellence with entrepreneurial skills. Candidates belonging to the General, NC-OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay a fee of ₹3,000, while a 50% concession is provided to students from the SC, ST, and PwD categories, bringing their application fee to ₹1,500.

This payment must be made through the online portal using net banking, credit cards, or debit cards to complete the registration process.

What is the Pre-Application Process?

The pre-application phase is an Expression of Interest (EOI). Since the formal admission window has not yet opened, registering now ensures that candidates are first to be notified when the official application form goes live. It allows the IIM Bangalore to keep interested students updated on final dates, eligibility changes, and entrance test schedules.

Course Details

The BBA-DBE is a three-year online degree with a flexible structure. Students have multiple exit options:

• Year 1: Exit with a Certificate in Digital Business & Entrepreneurship.
• Year 2: Exit with a Diploma in Digital Business & Entrepreneurship.
• Year 3: Exit with a Full Bachelor’s Degree (BBA).

IIM Bangalore BBA DBE Pre-Applications Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the program, candidates must meet the following:

• Nationality: Currently open to Indian Nationals only.
• Class 10: Must have a Pass Certificate from a recognized board.
• Class 12: General/NC-OBC/EWS: Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
  • SC/ST/PwD: Minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.

IIM Bangalore BBA DBE Pre-Applications Selection Process

Admission is granted based on performance in any one of the following three pathways:

1. IIMB DBE Entrance Test: A computer-based test conducted at designated centers across India.
2. CUET (UG): Valid scores from the General Test (Section III).
3. JEE Main: Valid scores from the national engineering entrance exam.

   Shortlisted candidates are selected based on category-wise cut-offs set by IIM Bangalore.
