ICFAI University Tripura PhD Admission Open, RAT Exam on January 16; Application Deadline January 12

The ICFAI University Tripura has opened applications for its full-time and part-time doctoral programmes for the academic year 2026. Online applications are being accepted through the official website, iutripura.edu.in, by January 12, 2026.

For those applicants who have not qualified for any of the exams, NET, GATE, or SET, they have to appear in the Research Aptitude Test (RAT), which will be held on January 16, 2026, followed by an interview.

Admission to the Doctoral programme will be based on an RAT test conducted by the ICFAI Shillong, followed by an interview. Applicants are required to hold a postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks, while candidates qualified in NET, GATE, and SET exams are exempted from the entrance exam.
