The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results for the CA Intermediate and Foundation examinations held in January 2026. Students who appeared for these professional exams can now access their scorecards on the official result portal.

The CA Foundation result is the entry-level gateway for students starting their journey to become Chartered Accountants. The CA Intermediate result is for the second level of the course, which students take after clearing the Foundation or via direct entry.

These ICAI results determine if a student is eligible to progress to the next academic stage or start their practical training (Articleship).

How to Check the ICAI CA Inter & Foundation 2026 Result ?

To view the results, students must follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the official ICAI result website: icai.nic.in.
2. Click on the link for "Intermediate (Jan 2026)" or "Foundation (Jan 2026)".
3. Enter the Roll Number and Registration Number (e.g., NRO, WRO, CRO, etc.).
4. Enter the CAPTCHA code shown on the screen.
5. Click on Submit to view and download the digital scorecard.

Successful Foundation Students must now register for the CA Intermediate course through the Self Service Portal (SSP). Successful Intermediate Students become eligible to begin their Articleship training and register for the CA Final course. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for verification of answer books on the ICAI portal within a specific window (usually 30 days) by paying the prescribed fee.
