Students joining the program in July 2026 will pay a tuition fee of INR 2,76,000 per semester. The total tuition fees for the entire duration of the program (for students admitted in July 2026) will be INR 11,04,000.

The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bangalore has announced the registration dates for its M.Tech. 2026 programs. Aspiring candidates can apply for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI&DS) starting from March 16, 2026.

To be eligible, a candidate must hold a four-year bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field with a minimum of 65% marks. The selection process primarily considers GATE scores in specific subjects corresponding to the chosen specialization.

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 1,000. The IIIT Bangaluru M.Tech. is a two-year (4-semester) full-time program approved by AICTE. GATE-qualified students are eligible for AICTE fellowships, and the institute also offers industry-funded scholarships that may cover nearly all student expenses. The program requires earning at least 64 credits with a minimum CGPA of 2.4 on a 4-point scale to graduate.
