Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota, has released the 1st Merit List for its M.Sc. programs (Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, and Botany) for the January 2026 session. Candidates who have been provisionally selected must participate in the admission counselling process to secure their seats.

VMOU has scheduled the first round of counselling for March 11 and March 12, 2026. Candidates must report to their respective Regional Centres, not the Study Centres, between 10:00 AM and 4:45 PM on either of these dates. Failure to appear in person will result in the immediate cancellation of their candidature.

VMOU M.Sc Admission 2026 Instructions for Candidates

Candidates must report to the Regional Centre (Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, or Udaipur) under which their allotted Study Centre falls. Applicants must bring original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies, including the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter, application form, ID proof, and educational certificates (10th, 12th, and B.Sc. marksheets).

A program fee of ₹17,300 must be paid online via the university portal after document verification is completed. Those who wish to change their allotted Study Centre can apply for the "Upward Movement" option on March 13, 2026, provided they have completed their document verification and fee payment.
