The studio test & interview for shortlisted candidates will be conducted from May 18 to May 23, 2026. Following the evaluation process, the first round of the merit list and admission offers will be announced on May 27, 2026

IIT Jodhpur M.Des Admission 2026 Open

The IIT Jodhpur has opened the application process for admission to its two-year M.Des programmes for the 2026–27 autumn session. Interested candidates can submit their online applications for both full-time regular and self-sponsored categories until April 21, 2026.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on a shortlist score derived from the candidate’s CEED score and the portfolio submitted along with the application. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the studio test and personal interview. The final selection will be based on the CEED score, portfolio, studio test and interview. Not appearing for the studio test and interview would lead to disqualification.

IIT Jodhpur is offering admission to two specialised M.Des programmes: M.Des in XR Design and M.Des in Smart Product Design.

The institute has also specified the application processing fee for each programme selected. Candidates belonging to General (UR), EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay a processing fee of ₹300 per programme, while candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories need to pay ₹150 per programme during the online application submission.

In case seats remain vacant after the regular admission rounds, IIT Jodhpur may conduct spot admissions, and the dates for the same will be announced later.
