NEET 2025 exam has been conducted on May 4, 2025 from 2 PM to 5 PM in pen-and-paper mode. Based on the initial reaction, the NEET 2025 paper was moderate to difficult, with Physics being toughest and Biology was the easiest.

NEET 2025 was conducted on May 4, 2025 from 2 PM to 5 PM. The exam was conducted for over 22.7 lakh candidates in 5453 exam centers in India and 13 cities abroad. Based on the initial feedback, NEET 2025 paper was moderate to difficult. Candidates reported that the Physics section was toughest and Biology was the easiest.

NEET UG 2025 Exam Pattern

Candidates had to answer 180 multiple choice questions (MCQs) in NEET 2025. All questions are compulsory; no options available in Section B. The questions are divided into three sections - Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (further divided into Botany and Zoology).

  • The exam duration is three hours (2 PM to 5 PM).
  • Candidates can attempt the NEET 2025 Question Paper in 13 languages – English, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Assamese, Odia, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam.
  • NTA awards +4 marks for every correct answer in NEET 2025 exam. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer. However, there is no marks awarded or deducted for unattempted questions. 
  • The total marks for NEET 2025 is 720.
