Along with this, GLIM has launched ‘Fluid Intellect’ to equip students with the industry-relevant skills necessary to thrive in the modern business world.

GREAT LAKES

New Delhi: Great Lakes Institute of Management has made changes in its PGDM Curriculum from the academic session 2024-25. The PGDM Curriculum has been revamped keeping in mind GLIM’s dedication to creating business-ready professionals who are both result-oriented and responsible.

The curriculum is oriented towards industry concentrations and job roles rather than the conventional approach of functional majors such as Finance or Marketing. It has been enriched to include a series of labs that are meant to enhance both broad brush soft and hard skills as well as provide deep dives into concentrations chosen as majors.

The new PGDM course has been designed with experiential learning interventions, such live projects, real-life scenario analysis, and simulations. These hands-on experiences ensure your seamless transition from academic environments to real-world business settings.

Introducing ‘Fluid Intellect’

A ground-breaking initiative, ‘Fluid Intellect’ has been launched to equip students with the industry-relevant skills necessary to thrive in the modern business world. ‘Fluid Intellect’ recognises that learning moments can be created both in and out of the classroom and that different individuals may have very different learning trajectories.

This innovative learning approach is designed to blend conceptual frameworks, hard and soft skills, and overall personality development. 'Fluid Intellect' involves a location and curriculum-agnostic format with holistic and customised learning pathways, specifically curated to meet the evolving talent demands of global trade and commerce.

Dr. Suresh Ramanathan, Dean of Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai said, "Our revamped PGPM curriculum is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to provide a transformative learning experience. 'Fluid Intellect' is more than just an educational approach; it is a philosophy that prepares our students to excel in an ever-changing business landscape. By integrating experiential learning and industry-relevant skills, we are ensuring that our graduates are not only proficient but also poised to lead and innovate”.

Structured Mentoring Initiative

A notable feature of the revamped curriculum is the structured mentoring initiative, designed to support students' progress across multiple facets of learning and personal development. This initiative aims to prepare students comprehensively for their corporate careers, fostering growth in both professional skills and personal attributes.
