CBSE Class 10 Science Deleted Syllabus 2025-26 is provided in the article below. CBSE has maintained the 30% reduction in the syllabus for the academic year 2025-26 Students can download the updated CBSE Class 10 Science Syllabus from the official website cbseacademic.nic.in.
- CBSE Class 10 Science Syllabus now contains a total of 13 chapters
- A total of 3 chapters and some portions of the other 4 chapters were deleted.
- Entire chapters of Sources of Energy, Periodic Classification of Elements, and Sustainable Management of Natural Resources have been removed as a part of the class 10th science deleted syllabus 2025-26
- A significant portion of Chapter 9 of the syllabus is also deleted, with the title of the chapter replaced with 'Heredity'.
- Sections of Chapter 11, Chapter 12, and Chapter 13 have also been deleted.
The total marks for CBSE Class 10 Science theory exam is 80 and rest 20 marks are allotted to the internal assessment. To pass the exam, students need to score a cumulative of at least 33% in both the theory and practical.
