The MAT 2025 PBT exam is scheduled for 13 December 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The admit card for the PBT mode is available on mat.aima.in, and you can download it anytime until exam day.
The exam will be for 120 minutes (2 hours) with 150 MCQs divided into 5 sections: Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, and Economic & Business Environment.
The Question Paper and a detailed exam analysis will be provided in this article for both PBT and CBT modes.
If you’re planning to take the CBT mode, the registration is still open. The last date to apply is 15 December 2025, and the CBT exam will be conducted on 21 December 2025.
Just keep in mind that PBT and CBT have different city lists, so choose the mode based on what’s available in your city. And since IBT is no longer offered, taking the MAT from home isn’t an option now.

The MAT registration trends will help you understand how many students you are competing with. All India Management Association, a federation of Local Management Associations (LMAs), has witnessed a 20% growth in registration for MAT post-COVID.
AIMA Director Daljeet Singh told PTI "There has been a rise in the number of women candidates registering for MAT. With 45 per cent of women candidates in 2023, there is a growth of approximately 3 per cent compared to 2019."
He also said that “There is more participation of candidates from smaller cities, including Agra, Asansol, Aurangabad, Balasore, Bhilai, Darbhanga, Durg, Durgapur, Ernakulam, Erode, Salem, among others," he said.”

Ques. How many times can I appear for MAT 2025?
Ans. There is no restriction on the number of attempt for the MAT exam. The MAT is conducted four times a year (March, May, September, and December), you can choose to appear in the any session.
If you are not satisfied with the score in one session, you can retake the text in the next session to improve scores.
