NTA PhD entrance test registration closes soon on phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in
New Delhi: National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for PhD entrance test for Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi University (DU), and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) till September 20, 2023. Aspirants who want to appear for the exam can check and apply through the official website phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in.
Earlier, the last date was September 15, 2023, and has been later extended. Aspirants will be able to make corrections to their form between September 16 and 17, 2023.

NTA Ph.D Entrance Test 2023: Eligibility Criteria
- Aspirants who have completed their postgraduation or equivalent examination or appearing in 2023 can participate in the Ph.D. entrance exams for DU, JNU, BHU, and BBAU, regardless of their age.
- Aspirants should take note that there is no age limit to appear in the exam.

Given below are the steps aspirants need to follow to apply for the NTA Ph.D Entrance test:
- Aspirants need to visit the official website phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in.
- Tap on the registration
- Aspirants need to register with an email ID and password
- Login and fill out the application form.
- Upload all the necessary documents
- Pay the application fee
- Submit the form
- Download the application form and take a printout for future reference

Aspirants should note that the PhD entrance exam will be in computer-based (CBT) mode for a total of 100 MCQs to be answered in 3 hours or 180 minutes. The medium of question papers will be in English, except for Language papers. The paper will divided into two sections one will be the research methodology and another section 2 will be subject-specific.
