New Delhi: Delhi University (DU) is all set to reveal the second list of allotments for the year 2023 today, on August 10, 2023, at 5 pm. Upon its release, candidates can access and download the DU 2nd allotment list from the official website @ugadmission.uod.ac.in. Candidates will be given time until August 13 to confirm their allocated seats. 

In order to guarantee their positions against the DU second allotment list, candidates who have been successfully accepted must finalise the payment of the necessary application fees by August 15, 2023. 

In the first round of allocations, a significant count of candidates effectively secured positions under Delhi University-Affiliated Colleges. A remarkable 85,853 candidates achieved successful allotments, showcasing an impressive 87 percent fill rate of the total available seats. 

According to the DU reports, the distribution of enrollments were majorly observed in Hansraj College, Ramjas College, and Dyal Singh College.

Among those candidates whose names were featured in the initial DU round's allotment list, an impressive total of 62,008 students have efficiently fulfilled fee payments, formally cementing their admission into DU colleges. Moreover, 53 percent of this group comprises female students. 

Within this successful cohort, a total of 12,733 candidates have opted to secure their current placements by freezing their admissions, while a substantial 40,701 candidates have chosen to explore potential upgrades in their admission choices.

Admission into the Under-Graduate Programs at the University of Delhi (UoD) for the Academic Session 2023-24 will be conducted through CSAS(UG)-2023, based on the eligibility criteria outlined in UG BOI-2023, alongside other regulations published by the University of Delhi on its official website.

DU UG Second Allotment List 2023: How to Download? 

 Following are the instructions outlining how to access and download the Delhi University Second Allotment List online:

Step 1: Visit the official Delhi University website @www.du.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage of the website, search for the "Admission" or "Admission Portal" section. Click on this section to proceed to the admissions page.

Step 3: If you've already completed the registration process for admissions, log in using your credentials, typically your registration number and password. For new users, registration involves providing necessary details and creating a password.

Step 4: After logging in, locate the link labeled "Second Allotment List" or a similar option. 

Step 5: Click on this link to access the list of allocated seats.

Step 6: The second allotment list will be displayed, search for your name or registration number.

Step 7: To retain a copy for your records, click on either the "Download" or "Print" button on the page. 

Step 8: Remember to keep a printed or digital version of the allotment letter to refer to during future admission processes.
