CUHP CDOE Inviting UG PG Online Admission 2026 From February 3

Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) has announced the start of online admissions for UG/PG programmes under the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) for the January-February 2026 session.

The application process will begin on February 3, 2026, and eligible candidates can apply through the Samarth portal until March 5, 2026. The university will offer MBA, MCA, and MA programmes in fully online mode following UGC-DEB guidelines with structured academic activities starting from May 2026.

Eligibility for admission varies according to the programme selected. For MA programmes in Economics, History and Political Science, candidates must have a three-year bachelor’s or undergraduate degree from a recognized university with at least 120 credits, and admissions will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

For the MBA programme, applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree with 120 credits, and selection will be based on merit in the qualifying examination along with reservation as per Government of India rules.

For the MCA programme, candidates must have BCA or a Computer Science/Engineering degree, or a graduate degree with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level; some students may need to complete a bridge course in the first semester.

Foreign nationals, international students and NRIs are advised to contact the university before submitting applications.

While applying, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹2,000. The semester fee structure differs by course, with MBA costing around ₹19,500 per semester, MCA around ₹13,000 per semester, and MA programmes approximately ₹3,300 per semester, excluding applicable platform or service charges.

International and NRI students will be charged double the prescribed fee, which will be calculated in US dollars as per the exchange rate on the date of admission.

All applications must be submitted online through the Samarth portal only, as the university does not accept hard copy forms.

After submitting the form and uploading documents, candidates must complete online document verification and pay the required admission fee within the specified timeline to confirm their seat.
