IGRUA Invites Applications for CPL & AME Admission 2026; Entrance Exam on May 3

The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) has invited applications for admission to the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) programmes through the IGRUA Entrance Examination 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications in online mode by April 13, 2026. The entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 3, 2026, at various centres across the country.

The CPL programme offered by IGRUA includes ab-initio to Commercial Pilot Licence training with multi-engine endorsement and instrument rating. The course is designed to prepare students for careers in domestic and international airlines. The training duration is approximately 36 months, depending on individual performance and flying progress. A total of 125 seats are available.

At the same time, the academy is also inviting applications for its integrated Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and B.Sc. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering programme. This three-year course aims to train students in aircraft maintenance, technical operations, and aviation safety.

IGRUA Admission Dates 2026 – CPL & AME

Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and English to be eligible. Selection will be based on the online written test, followed by an interview and an aptitude or psychometric test. Admit cards will be available from April 23, 2026, and the schedule for the interview and aptitude tests will be announced on May 18. The final result is expected on or after June 26, 2026.
