CENTAC NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Provisional Allotment Released; Check Last Date to Join

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry, has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 Round 1 provisional seat allotment. The list was published on the official CENTAC portal at centacpuducherry.in on September 3, 2026. Candidates can log in with their credentials to check the allotment status.

The Round 1 allotment covers admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS (Ayurveda) and BVSc & AH (Veterinary) programmes. It has been issued for the National SS and NRI quota categories for the 2026-27 academic session. Allotted candidates must report to the allotted institute by 5:00 PM on September 7, 2026.

CENTAC has warned that seats will be cancelled if candidates do not join within the deadline. The cancelled seats will then move to the Round 2 vacancy pool. Candidates are advised to arrange documents and fees in advance to avoid last-minute delays.

How to Check the CENTAC NEET UG Round 1 Allotment Result?

Allotted candidates can view the Round 1 result in a few simple steps. The result is available only on the official CENTAC portal. No SMS or email intimation is required for a candidate to act.

1. Visit the official website at centacpuducherry.in.
2. Click on the Round 1 Provisional Allotment link for UG NEET.
3. Enter your application number and date of birth to log in.
4. The allotted college and course will appear on screen.
5. Download and save the allotment letter for reporting.

How to Join the Allotted Institute?

After downloading the provisional allotment letter, candidates must report physically to the allotted college. Reporting must be completed by 5:00 PM on September 7, 2026. Missing this deadline will lead to automatic cancellation of the seat.

At the institute, candidates must submit original documents for verification. The college will then confirm the admission and issue a joining report. The applicable course fee must also be paid at this stage.

Fee Structure and Payment

CENTAC published the fee structure for medical, dental and nursing programmes on August 28, 2026. The course-wise and college-wise fee details are listed in the official notification on centacpuducherry.in. Candidates must confirm the applicable fee before travelling to the allotted college.

Payment is generally accepted through demand draft or online transfer at the allotted institute. Candidates should carry proof of payment while reporting for verification.

Documents Required for Reporting

Candidates should carry all originals along with two sets of photocopies. Missing documents can delay or block admission at the college end.

• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
• Nativity or residence certificate, if claimed
• Category certificate for reserved candidates
• Aadhaar card and recent passport-size photographs

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Log in to centacpuducherry.in and check the Round 1 allotment letter.
2. Download and print at least two copies of the allotment letter.
3. Arrange all original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies.
4. Keep the tuition fee ready in the mode accepted by the allotted college.
5. Report to the allotted institute before 5:00 PM on September 7, 2026.
