Mr Deepak Bansal is the Director & COO of RK Films and Media Academy, RKFMA Productions Pvt. Ltd. and also a RK Educational Trust Managing Trustee. His education is from the premium institutes of the country. Mr. Bansal is also a board member at RK Educational Trust Managing Trustee. He is involved in organization-building and Sub-Editor of monthly Hindi RNI newspaper and Karol Bagh Darpan. He has been handling operations and business development of RK Educational Group since 2006.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

We engage with students, involve trainers in course plan and lesson scheduling, coordinate with administrative and support staff as well for their feedback. Overall, we strive for maximum satisfaction of people connected in our ecosystem. This is a very strong ecosystem that we have built to give the best quality education for the incoming students.

The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?

During the pandemic, education was the worst hit sector globally. India was far behind as well due to lack of technological infrastructure and its acceptance towards online education methodologies amongst the takers. India has a rich tradition of academic excellence, with numerous renowned educational institutions. Studying in India helps expose you to this diversity, allowing you to broaden your horizons, enhance your intercultural competence and gain a deeper understanding of different perspectives. However, online methods have also gained momentum now. Between this post-pandemic period of 2-3 years, Indian students have become more aware and have started accessing those certifications which are offered by international institutions. In a way they are now in a better state of comparing what is offered where and where their respective aspirations may get fulfilled.

Any insights into how your university could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

We welcome anyone from anywhere to pursue our academic programs. We have had international students in our programs completing various courses like Acting, Filmmaking, Voice Overs, Scriptwritng, Mass Communication, Photography, etc. Moreover, our collaboration for certificate programs under Delhi University has made our training accessible to a wider audience.

What do you think should be the institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?

We as an institute strongly believe in keep evolving with technology and keep offering the latest and trending content through our courses that is readiness for the industry. It will also help in giving the best education to the upcoming generation and making their career in life. What would you like people to know about your institute they may not know?

From 2006, RKFMA started as an acting school in Delhi. It has been listed amongst the top 10 acting schools in the country & given few professionals to the country. The academy is a unit of an educational society started in 1995. R K Films & Media Academy established in New Delhi is dedicated towards the promotion of career oriented education for the populace, bringing the multifaceted Media & Entertainment Industry under one roof.

What do you see as RKFMA greatest strengths?

RKFMA is known for their quality education for students & one of the biggest alumni networks. We as an organization & institute give 100 % focus on overall development of the students by implementing the updated curriculum along with the latest technology in our institute for best education in our field.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

Today’s current youth aspirants need to have explored their Interests and aim for making the right career move. Clear goal setting for both short term & long term career and life path. How do you tend to establish a healthy relationship and environment in your institute?

We strongly believe in establishing a healthy relationship and environment in an institute involves creating a supportive and positive atmosphere for all individuals involved, including students, faculty, supporting staff and administrators.
