Admissions to BAJMC (Hons.) and MAJMC at NIMCJ Ahmedabad are conducted through GCAS (Gujarat Common Admission Services) with separate UG and PG registration windows. No entrance exam is required for either programme.

The BAJMC (Hons.) covers Print Journalism, Electronic Media, Digital Media, and Advertising as specialisation tracks over four years. The MAJMC is a two-year postgraduate programme with the same specialisation focus.
