What is your vision for the nursing program at this institution?

Being the principal of BNRC, a strong nursing program should aim to provide students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills to ensure they are well-prepared for diverse roles in the healthcare industry. The curriculum should be designed to develop communication skills, critical thinking and clinical reasoning while also providing insights into evidence-based practice and current medical trends. The curriculum should emphasize practitioner-based evidence, interdisciplinary collaboration, cultural awareness and moral decision making. Furthermore, the program should also provide students with ample opportunities to gain hands-on clinical knowledge, conduct research and get involved in community service activities to help them gain a comprehensive understanding of the field of the nursing profession and its impact on patient care. 

How do you promote a positive learning environment for nursing students?

As a principal, it is critical to create a positive learning experience for nursing students in order to ensure their success within the program and as they progress in their careers. There are a few different ways this can be accomplished, such as by encouraging active participation, providing constructive feedback, creating a culture of respect, using a variety of teaching methods and building relationships
