Micron Technology, a leader in semiconductors, memory, and storage solutions like Dynamic Random Access Memory and Solid-State Drives, was founded in 1978. It is ranked as 136 among the Fortune 500 Companies in 2025. According to a piece on India briefing, “Micron Technology President and CEO Sanjay Mehrotra has stated that Phase 1 of the company’s plant at Sanand, Gujarat, will become operational by early 2025. Micron expects to create 5,000 jobs in the state. Phase 2 is slated for the second half of the ongoing decade.
