What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

I am a person who thrives on intrinsic motivation to touch, impact, inspire and create visible and tangible differences in people’s lives through the transformative and ennobling power of education. I am an extremely passionate and purpose–driven academician who has been relentlessly working in the education sector, nurturing the creative and innovative genius and the unique talents and capabilities in our young learners. I am honored to extend my warmest greetings and personally welcome you to Gopal Narayan Singh University (GNSU). As the Vice-Chancellor, I take great pride in the exceptional educational opportunities and vibrant academic community we offer. At GNSU, we believe in nurturing young minds and providing them with a holistic learning experience. Our renowned faculty members are dedicated to imparting knowledge, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging creativity.

Being the Chairman of GNSU, what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

I strongly believe that a true leader is the one who knows the way, shows the way and most importantly, goes the way. A leader takes people where they want to go but a great leader takes people where they don’t want to go but ought to be. The real role of leadership in education is to create a suitable climate of infinite possibilities and immense potentialities where the people would continue to evolve into the highest, truest and the very best versions of them.

Do you have any extracurricular activities/ programs to enhance the skills of the students or expose them to real-world challenges?

Any insights into how your university could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

India’s improved system of education is cited as one of the main contributors to its economic improvement. While enrolment in higher education is only 14% of the total primary education, it is far behind in comparison to developed and other developing countries in the world. This percentage has to be improved at par with developed countries. Keeping in view to this fact many private sector institutions have come up to provide higher education. Gopal Narayan Singh University, Sasaram, a private University, is non-profit university in a remote area of Bihar, which has been established to provide higher education to downtrodden, poor & helpless people in Bihar.

What do you think should be the University’s top priority over the next 10 years?

Through academics, research, entrepreneurial learning, and interdisciplinary insight, transform scholars and professionals as strong leaders with emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Develop and execute academic programs for student’s holistic development. Promote research for the advancement of knowledge and for the betterment of society. Extend infrastructural and allied amenities to offer prospects for graduate, post-graduate, and research education through offline, online, and blended learning for effective learning experiences.
