You have held key positions at education Institutions throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

Teaching, research and inculcating good values in students are my passions. I feel we can utilize and disseminate the knowledge which we gained through our education system properly while working in the education sector.

Being the Director of Major S.D. Singh AMCH, Farrukhabad what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

Undoubtedly, a leader must have a clear vision and be eloquent clearly to provide direction for the group he serves. Leaders need to provide leadership opportunities for others to foster growth and share responsibility for attaining goals. I enjoy entrusting tasks to my team and taking the steer on during day-to-day academic as well as administrative work, but I also like to stay involved and inspire my faculty members and staff by showing that I'm working side-by-side to help them, too.

Being the Director of Major S.D. Singh AMCH, Farrukhabad, how do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your school?

With regard to strategizing the key programs and plans for marketing and administration of our organization, I believe in identifying our goals, prioritizing/targeting important ones, and assessing needs and required resources. Thereafter, we brainstorm and concentrate on selected ideas to build a strategy and implement an organization-promoting plan. Finally, we assess the success of our plan and make adjustments so that we can continue on our path to achieve our goals.

The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute/ Institution school?

An inbound student, while studying at Major S.D. Singh AMCH, Farrukhabad, can gain experience in numerous things at our college. We provide individual attention, focus on value-based teaching and deliver a balanced program that has high academic standards. We use innovative and exciting teaching methodologies which are used by highly-skilled and experienced faculty members. We provide a safe environment with parental involvement and a community environment. The college has good infrastructure and abundant resources with opportunities for networking. All of the approving/affiliating bodies, i.e., AICTE, PCI, AKTU, BTE, etc have designed well-planned, industry-specific curricula. They, in turn, give us the freedom and flexibility to choose industry-based electives as a part of their curriculum. We always plan our teaching pattern and curriculum in such a manner that all students will be accepted by all industries for such best practices.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the Institutions and the students are?

My roles and responsibilities are to provide leadership, direction and coordination within our organization. I also need to work towards determining the strategic objectives and policies of MSDSAMCH. I monitor our progress towards achieving the institute’s objectives and policies, monitoring exact progress within students and making changes when needed to ensure we stay on track.

What do you think should be the Institutions’ top priority over the next 10 years?

Our top priority over the next ten years should be to improve educational attainment levels in Uttar Pradesh as well as in India by increasing the ease of higher education access, assisting students in identifying life and academic goals and planning pathways to attain goals. We also need to work towards embracing technologies and modes of delivery that can be successfully utilized by students, increasing student success rates across all disciplines while maintaining academic rigor and quality educational outcomes.

What would you like people to know about your Institutions they may not know?

Major SDSAMCH believes in providing a homely atmosphere to each student. We provide here not only world-class education but also value-based moral learning. The faculty members prepare the students to have the right expertise and skills to face the tough world. We nurture them with utmost care and believe in life-long bonding with them.

Our commitment to quality technical education has involved the inclusion of various curricula and extracurricular activities. Through these activities, we can ensure that we are able to provide quality holistic education that matches industry standards. MSDSAMCH believes in the concept of quality education and all-around development to build each and every student into a perfect, skilled, and well-acceptable professional throughout.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see, both for higher education in general and for Major S.D. Singh AMCH, Farrukhabad specifically?

The mushrooming of lots of sub-standard educational institutions, and the un-awareness of parents to differentiate between good and bad organisations are major challenges for us. Additionally, the changed mindset of aspiring students to get only certificates and not skills or quality education is an issue for educational institutes.
