Dr. Anand Rai is the Head of the Department of Finance and Program Chairperson at the GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research in Greater Noida. Additionally, he is the head of IQAC for GLBIMR. During his career, he has taught management courses for more than 22 years. Dr. Raihas has conducted various international workshops on Non-Financial Reporting in Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. He has conducted more than 20 Faculty Development Programs and Management Development Programs. Dr. Rai serves on the boards of two startups, Brainlox LLC, USA, and Triluxo Technology Pvt Ltd. His research interests include microfinance, sustainable development, and non-financial reporting.

Being a Head of your Department, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

As the Head of the Department in GLBIMR's PGDM programme, my role is multifaceted. It includes curriculum development, mentoring faculty, and ensuring academic standards. Moreover, I interact with students, address their concerns, and guide them in their academic and career pursuits. The aim is to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment to help students grow professionally

How does the program ensure that students are prepared for the challenges of the future?

The program's curriculum is designed to reflect current industry needs and future trends, integrating technical knowledge with soft skill training. We engage students in practical projects, internships, and industry interactions, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the professional world.
