What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education in general?
"Effective implementation of NEP 2020 in current curriculum is the biggest challenge in front of higher education institutions"
We always look at challenges as opportunities and in my opinion the biggest challenge before all educational institutions at present is the effective incorporation and implementation of National Education Policy 2020 in their regular curriculum. Because, presently the Legal education is treated as professional courses, however transforming Law programs into a multi-disciplinary course is definitely going to be a major roadblock. Therefore, to overcome these issues and massive reforms in the field of legal education in accordance with NEP 2020, we would definitely need the support and assistance of the Bar Council of India, which is also the apex body for governing legal education. Apart from all this, we also have to focus on providing multidisciplinary education using holistic approaches to address mental health problems of students.
