How to Calculate GPA?
GPA equals the sum of credit times grade point, divided by total credits. CGPA is the average across all semesters so far.
Example: A student scores grade points 9, 8 and 10 in courses of 4, 4 and 3 credits. The GPA is (36 + 32 + 30) divided by 11, which is 8.91.
The final class depends on CGPA. A CGPA of 9.00 and above is Outstanding, and 8.00-8.99 is Excellent. Then 7.00-7.99 is Very Good, 6.00-6.99 is Good, and 5.00-5.99 is Above Average. For UG, 4.00-4.99 is Average.
