Mr. Manoj Verma is an Assistant Professor and the Head of the Department of EC at the Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology. With 17 years of work experience, Mr. Verma holds a B.E. degree in EC and an M.E. in Digital Communication.

What keeps you connected with the education sector and how has your experience been so far with the institute? 

With the aim of serving society, my affinity for technology led me to this profession. Thus far, my experience with the institute has been exceptionally positive during my tenure. I have found the management to be highly collaborative and supportive, particularly in the development of our skills. The management is dedicated to fostering a conducive academic environment, which contributes to the overall positive experience in my role.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

I focus on fostering teamwork and enhancing the skills of both subordinates and colleagues. My philosophy is to work together to contribute to their overall development and achieve the college’s goals. Emphasising collaboration and skill development is integral to creating a positive and productive working environment.

What are your roles and responsibilities?

My multifaceted role as a teacher, mentor, and head encompasses the responsibility of delivering a conducive academic environment to students. With a commitment to their overall development, I strive to create an atmosphere that promotes learning, growth, and success. Through teaching, mentoring, and leadership, I aim to contribute to the holistic development of each student under my guidance.

What is the top priority of your institute in the next 10 years?

Over the next ten years, we will be focusing on developing our students. We will be prioritising ensuring our students are employable. We are planning to do so by aligning their skills with the latest technology requirements and emphasising their readiness for the job market.

Our institute provides a range of skill development programs, training sessions, workshops, and internships to enhance academic growth. This initiative is designed to align the university curriculum with the latest advancements in technology, ensuring students stay updated and well-prepared for their future endeavours.
