Mr. A.N.V.J. Raja Gopal is the HOD-EEE at BVC Institute of Technology and Sciences. He has obtained his B.Tech & M.tech from J.N.T.U.College of Engineering, Kakinada. He holds a total of 21 years of work experience. He has attended various workshops and seminars. Throughout his career, he has published many papers. He is the life Member of Indian society for Technical Education (ISTE).

You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

The key factors that kept me connected with the education sector include my passion for this profession. I strongly feel that this is the noblest profession out of all professions because all other professionals will be made through the teaching profession. The Work environment I had here encouraged me positively to continue in the education sector.

Being the HOD of BVCITS what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

In my point of view philosophy of leadership is Responsibility. I want to be a unique role model in my leadership style. As a leader, I want to follow guidelines myself first and then instruct my colleagues to do the same. I will appreciate my colleagues for their repetitive hard work and their small achievements. 

The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?

Though the education systems are structured differently we are aware of everything using the internet. Though our students are studying in a rural area we are creating awareness of trending technologies through workshops, guest talks, webinars etc. Many students from our institution are in leading positions in MNC Companies.

How does the curriculum of BVC Engineering College ensure the best practice of industry?

BVC Curriculum is designed by taking inputs from experts of IIT, NIT reputed Universities and Industry Experts. The training and placement team of BVC group is continuously in touch with the industry people and knowing the industry needs accordingly they are giving inputs in designing the curriculum. They are also giving some additional training and encouraging the students to do certifications to meet the industry needs.

What do you think should be the Institute’s top priority over the next 5 years?

This year our institution got autonomous status and two programs(CSE,EEE) are accredited by the NBA which shows the quality. So the first priority over the next five years is to maintain quality in all aspects. To be one of the top 100 institutes in the NIRF Ranking, we will be focusing more on research activities.

What do you see as your Institute’s greatest strengths?

BVC has stood for quality education for the past 25 years. Our Greatest strength is our management never compromises in providing quality education. They always see the welfare of the staff and students.

What would you like people to know about your college they may not know?

In most families, when there are two children, parents tend to encourage them to pursue different areas of study. For instance, if they aspire to make both of them engineers, they may choose separate colleges for each child. However, at our institute, it's worth noting that many students from the same family have successfully graduated. This achievement not only reflects well on the institution but also demonstrates its reputation for providing quality education.

Any message you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

My message to the current youth is this: 'Never ever give up. Use technology in a positive way. Maintain ethics and morals in your life. Leave your identity here before you leave this world.' It's important to remember that setbacks are a part of the journey. Keep pushing forward, stay persistent, and don't let failures deter you from your goals.Technology is a powerful tool that can be harnessed for personal and societal progress. Use it to learn, connect, and create positive change in the world. Be mindful of its potential for both good and harm.In a rapidly changing world, it's crucial to hold onto your values. Uphold strong ethical principles and moral standards in your actions and decisions. This will not only guide you but also earn the respect of those around you. “Leave Your Identity Before You Leave This World” This phrase suggests leaving a lasting impact, a legacy. Strive to make a positive mark on the world, whether through your actions, contributions, or the people you inspire and help along the way. Don't be afraid to reach out for support when needed. It's a sign of strength to seek guidance and advice from others who have more experience or expertise in areas you're passionate about.
