What do you see as the biggest challenges facing higher education today, and how do you think your institution is addressing those challenges?

Nowadays students are only putting emphasis on degrees rather than teaching the learning process. But when a student is admitted to any institution our first priority should be to tell the student what they have already completed and what they want to pursue and what their future possibilities should be. During their studies, we have to tell them what the importance of a bachelor’s degree is and what should be the importance of an extension towards a master’s degree, and how that will help them to build their career by learning different possibilities to solve the optimum level problems.

What are your primary responsibilities and how do you balance them with other aspects of your job?

Only teaching the book pages is not the appropriate degree for a student before going to the final semester, we have to prepare our students on how to have a better personality with great communication skills with a fearless attitude, and how to face difficulties and manage the situation by giving them different events, programs, conferences, fest so that they will not hesitate to cherish the world.

How do you approach decision-making in your role?

I always understand different aspects of a student i.e. if he/she has sound knowledge or if he/she is sound in the practical field? If a student is good at research but doesn’t score a good mark it doesn’t mean that student is not a good ward. We allow our students to touch all the fields and to choose wisely as per their interests. I always follow the rule of my own interest with all supportive surroundings.

What do you think sets your institution apart from other colleges and universities and how do you communicate that unique value proportion to students?

We don’t compete with others. Our competition is with our previous year status and we are growing very fast. This year we got NAAC A accreditation and recently are working to get NBA accreditation for different branches. Also, we are opening different new courses. It's a sign of growth for our institution and we hope we will be the best among all other colleges and we will end our journey by converting the best college to the best University.

What are the benefits and career options after pursuing this course?

Students can choose a career in a technical line as well as in a non-technical profession also. They can be the best candidate for central and Odisha govt jobs as well. They can get a good place in different famous companies. they can pursue higher qualifications in different specializations towards research in different aspects.
