Dr. Rajat Arora is Principal at Aman Bhalla Institute of Engineering & Technology. He has working experience of more than 13 years. He had qualified GATE two times in the year namely 2013 and 2014. He has also qualified for UGC NET. He worked as Research Scholar in IIT Bombay in NANO Fabrication Antennas. He has guided several M. Tech and currently guiding Ph.D. students. He has published more than 50 papers in National and International Journals with SCI indexed or more than 2 impact factors.
What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?
“Provide students with comfort and transform the education system to meet the demands of the industry”
Being a faculty we should have to provide comfort to students and transform our education system to meet the inspirational needs of the new generation. We should be punctual and be honest towards our students as well as our work.
What are the challenges you faced to uplift the quality of education of your department?
“Language is the biggest challenge faced by me”
Language is the main barrier to uplift the quality of education of our department and we are trying to overcome this by organizing personality development programs. We should provide the fundamental knowledge to students for their better performance.
How do you make the Course Curriculum industry-oriented?
“To bridge the gap between the practical and theoretical skills of students”
We try to connect the practical with subjects that will develop an interest in students with theoretical and practical knowledge. The teacher must assign hands-on activities to students instead of asking them to mug up theory. After focusing on one particular curriculum program or comparing two or three programs at once. Our curriculum is related to the current situations and also related to the current needs of the industry that will help the students to give their best in their particular field.
What are the best practices offered by the department to the students which help them gain necessary skills?
“Providing students with skill enhancing activities like debates, discussion, and quizzes”
We indulge our students in various activities like group discussion, role-playing, and debate related to their respective subjects which develop the art of speaking, listening and also develop the confidence to explain everything in detail.

How do you strategize and update the curriculum?
“Regularly updating the syllabus of students according to the industrial demands”
By acknowledging the interest of the students and performing activities related to it. It provides an opportunity for students to learn best. We should frame the curriculum according to the needs and the level of the students so that they can’t feel the burden.
What are your views upon the placements and higher education about the students from your department?
“Provide Students with weekly counseling programs for guiding them in making career decisions”
Our department held weekly counseling regarding carriers and guided them to choose the best path for them. For that, we also conduct a job fair for the students so that they can get a chance to achieve the goal of their lives.
How do you help your student to cope up with the competition?
“Providing students with new techniques and ideas”
By introducing them to new techniques and ideas. We boost and motivate our students, by conducting seminars, workshops and also help them to cope up with the competitions.
Do you have any extracurricular programs to enhance the skills of the students?
“Providing Students with Skill enhancement programs and exposing them to real-world challenges”
Yes, we have so many activities such as debates, seminars, role play, discussions, personality development classes, sports meet, poster making, dancing, singing and rangoli making, etc.
What was your vision for the college from starting?
“Encourage students to progress in their career by joining skill enhancing programs”
When we come to the college, we only think and look after the progress of the students as well as the institution. We can achieve that by motivating the students about the specific goal that connects them to their overall vision and setting a target date to begin working steadily towards achieving them.
How does the department enhance the skills of the faculty?
“Prepare faculty members according to the recent industry standards by conducting various seminars”
By conducting various seminars, field trips, and workshops, the department enhances the skills of the faculty and prepares them according to industry standards. The department also gives training to the faculty so that they can improve their skills and also improve their ability to lead and manage teams and projects. The whole faculty members and management work in a team to achieve the same task i.e the growth of the students as well as the institution that is our greatest strength.

What are the approaches you bring in apart from curriculum to teaching the students?
“Encourage students to join educational trips, field trips and inculcate a problem-solving attitude”
By arranging educational trips, field trips for the students and also indulging them in various difficult situations so that they can overcome those situations accordingly. Through this, we can prepare our students for problem-solving and decision-making. In this way, we teach the students. We give valuable advice to the students that you have to choose your goal and work hard to achieve that goal.
