The Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) has announced an extension for the submission of applications for its doctoral-level programs. Prospective scholars now have until March 1, 2026, to apply for the BIMTECH Fellow Program in Management (FPM) and the Executive Fellow Program in Management (EFPM).

These programs are AICTE-approved and recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to a PhD. The application fee is INR 3,000. For candidates who are selected and take admission, this fee of INR 3,000 will be adjusted against the final admission fee.

BIMTECH FPM Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Academic Qualification: A Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering and Technology, Management, Economics, Social Science, Commerce, or Humanities with at least 60% marks (50% for CA/CS/ICWA with a B.Com degree).
• Experience (For EFPM Only): Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of managerial, executive, or teaching experience.
• Age Limit (For FPM Only): The maximum age limit is 45 years as of March 31, 2026.

BIMTECH FPM Admission 2026 Selection Process

The selection is based on a consistently strong academic record, professional achievements, and a research proposal. Candidates are evaluated on their potential to contribute to knowledge creation. Scholars with valid UGC-NET JRF or CAT scores (90 percentile and above) are eligible for enhanced scholarship brackets.
