Azim Premji University (APU), Bengaluru, has officially opened applications for its Postgraduate (PG) programmes for the academic year 2026. The application deadline is 14 Nov 2025, the National Entrance Test will be held on 14 Dec 2025, and personal interviews are scheduled from 5–9 Jan 2026. Classes for the new academic session will commence in July 2026.
For the Executive MBA in Development Management, candidates need a four-year bachelor’s, a three-year bachelor’s with a master’s, or a five-year integrated master’s, plus at least two years of full-time work experience. For MSc in Climate Change and Sustainability, MA in Education, MA in Early Childhood Care and Education, and MA in Development, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline is required.
Final-year students can apply, with provisional admission granted after graduation, and work experience is recommended for MA programmes. Specialised programmes have specific requirements: the MA in Economics requires a bachelor’s in Economics, while the Master of Public Health needs a four-year bachelor’s or a three-year bachelor’s with a master’s, with at least one year of post-graduation work or field experience for three-year degree holders.

Azim Premji University PG Admission 2026 - Selection Process
The application and selection process has three steps.
- Step 1: Fill the online application form with personal, educational, and work experience details, and pay an application fee of INR 500.
- Step 2: Candidates can either take the National Entrance Test (NET) conducted by Azim Premji University or submit scores from external tests. Executive MBA applicants can take the NET online from home, while others attend designated centres. Accepted external tests include CUET, CAT, MAT, GRE, GMAT, XAT, ATMA, and CMAT, depending on the programme. Final-year students must ensure scores are available before applying.
- Step 3: Shortlisted candidates are invited for a personal interview, conducted online or at university centres, focusing on motivation, commitment to social issues, and academic engagement.
