The aim of the workshop was to bridge the gap between academia and industry, providing a platform for insightful discussions on HR practices.

New Delhi: The Department of Commerce at Aligarh Muslim University hosted a two-day Workshop on Human Resource Management from January 23-24, 2024. The workshop was named, "Connecting Minds, Inspiring Future." and was orgaised by the Master of Human Resource Mnaagement students at AMU.
The aim of the workshop was to bridge the gap between academia and industry, providing a platform for insightful discussions on HR practices.
In the inaugural session, Professor M. Nasir Zamir Qureshi, the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, emphasised the workshop's role in fostering a deeper understanding of HR dynamics among students. Professor S.M. Imamul Haque, Chairman of the Department, highlighted the workshop's relevance in shaping future HR leaders.
Professor Nawab Ali Khan, the Training and Placement Officer (TPO) for MHRM, underscored the practical insights gained by students through workshops. A diverse group of students from different departments participated, gaining a unique opportunity to learn, network, and explore various facets of the HR landscape.
The event's organization was credited to student organizers Mr. Haider Ali Junaidi, Ms. Farwa Sakeena, Mr. Uzair Ansari, and Mr. Ilham Shams Usmani.
