• To apply for PhD admission, candidates need to have an MBBS/BDS degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
• Or they should have an MD/ MS/ MDS/ DM/ MCh in the subject concerned from a recognised university or institute.
• Non-medical candidates should have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Medical subjects (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Immunology, Genetics) /M-Biotech / M- Tech (Biotechnology). 
• Those who do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission seats.
• Selection of applicants will be based on the PhD Entrance Test conducted by the institute, followed by personal interaction with the Board/ Doctoral Research Committee (DRC).

Step 4: Fill out the application form and attach a copy of mentioned documents with it.

Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the form to the admission cell to complete your application process. 

Step 6: Applicants must also take a printout of the application form for all future needs.

As per the official notice, “ Candidates have to fill up the application form (available on the AIIMS website) in hard copy and should submit it through Registered post along with all required supporting documents to PhD committee, AIIMS, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur U.P. 273008”.
