Ahmedabad University UG Early Admission 2026 Round 9 Ongoing; Apply by April 22

Ahmedabad University has started the Early Admission Round 9 for its undergraduate programmes for the 2026–27 academic session. The application process began on April 8, 2026, and will remain open until April 22, 2026. Interested candidates can apply online through the official portal. The university offers 26 majors across Humanities, Sciences, Engineering, Commerce, and Management, following a holistic admission process that evaluates both academic performance and overall student fit.

Eligibility to Apply for Ahmedabad University Admission 2026

Candidates must have completed Class 12 or equivalent from any board recognised by the Council of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE) or hold international qualifications such as Cambridge IGCSE, International Baccalaureate (IB), or American High School Diploma. Students appearing for Class 12 examinations in 2026 are also eligible.

For BTech programmes, applicants must submit their JEE Main 2026 score or any state-level engineering entrance exam score. Candidates can apply for multiple programmes using a single application form.

Ahmedabad University offers a wide range of undergraduate programmes including BA (Hons), BSc (Hons), BCom (Hons), BCom (Professional), BSc in Management (Hons), and BTech. It also provides five-year integrated programmes such as BA + MBA, BSc + MSc in Quantitative Finance, and BTech + MBA. Students have the flexibility to select a major during application or choose later by the second year.

The admission process is designed to be holistic, considering academic records, a personal statement, and interaction with faculty members. Applicants can choose up to three preferred majors while filling out the form. The university also allows students to change their major up to the second year, subject to eligibility and academic requirements. Additionally, students can opt for a minor in a different discipline. However, for BTech programmes, candidates must confirm their major at the time of application.
